Brief Career History

2000 – present

Managing Consultant, Hospitalia Consultaire Limited -

Leadership of feasibility and design teams for health and environmental systems, project implementation supervision.

Consultant to the Federal Government of Nigeria (Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Fund Office) on Health, Safety, Pollution Control and Biomedical Waste Management.

Consultant to the Federal Ministry of Environment (Nigeria), on the Design, Development and Implementation of “Health Care Waste Management Plan”, “HealthCare Waste Management Guidelines”, and Healthcare Waste Management Policy for Nigeria

Consultant to the National Action Committee on Aids (NACA), for the Development of “Healthcare Waste Management Plan” for its operations.

Consultant to the Ecological Fund Office, The Presidency (Nigeria) for the “Nationwide Hospital Waste Disposal Intervention Scheme” – the Project involves the Provision of Healthcare Waste Management Facilities (including medical waste incinerators) in all Federal Tertiary Healthcare Facilities in the Country.

 Consultant to UNIDO on Enabling Activities for the Implementation of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs).

 Consultant to the World Bank on Environmental and Medical Waste Management Plans for the Avian Influenza Control and Human Pandemic Preparedness and Response Project.

 Consultant, Centre for Ethno-medical Practice, Research and Conservation (CEPRAC), Abuja; Duties include research work into traditional medicinal plants, their uses and conservation. Presently, developing a 10 hectare medicinal plants conservatory and health farm in Gaube District, Abuja.

 1997 – 2000:

Executive Director, Infratec Ltd, Port Harcourt: Duties included Health, Safety and Environment Trainings for staff of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and oil industry service companies in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
